It is a well known fact that art is often done on commission. Which is defined as,

"authority to act as agent for another or others in commercial transactions".

In simpler terms, when something is done for someone else with some sort of compensation, generally money.

So why is it when people see this art, they tell the artist that they should "do this differently" or "not do this at all"? It doesn't make sense. An artist was paid to draw (and or color) a picture or photograph someone. It is what they got paid to do. Only the person who commissioned the art can say anything about what is not right with it.

Am I right?
